Following is the course description of the doctoral program starting in April 2010:
Outline of Doctoral Program
【Manufacturing Engineering】
Engineering, in the process of development, has segmentized itself while incorporating other fields, and generated new frontiers of technology. Since this process will undoubtedly repeat itself in the future, it is of critical importance to foster engineers who are eager to venture into such frontiers. In this course we will not only focus on fundamental technologies but broaden our horizons to the fields of academic boundaries. We aim at fostering world class researchers who excel in comprehensive judgment and are equipped with creativity, leadership, and planning ability.
